This past weekend we we’re present at the BLACK SISTERHOOD UNITY MARCH in Rotterdam, and initiative by Ogenda Adolphin and organized together with the fast growing Black Ladies Talk Facebook group. Over 100 black women from Rotterdam to Zaandam united at Rotterdam Central station to walk the streets of Rotterdam and march to the Erasmusbrug. Being part of this positive march we were being escorted by police and express ourself during a very powerful and emotional walk. The women were able to show their strenght, beauty, grace, unity and diversity throughout their all black clothing and colorful traditional headwraps to pay tribute to their black heritage. It was an unique and memorable experience… one to never forget!
