The American Book Center in the city center of The Hague is one of our favourite go to go spots to buy new books, especially the titles of black celebrities, role models and the businesses minded.

This time we could pick up our longwaited book “Be You and Live Civil” of CEO and cultural influencer and digital renaissance woman digital  Karen Civel. A small pocket book where she reveals tools for unlocking your potential and living your purpose. We were a little disappointed that the book was so small and the letters to big, we read it in less than a day! But what dope was that Karen left blank pages in her book, for us readers to fill in our self. She truly challenges the reader to mental strength through self-motivation, positive attitude, understanding and accepting yourself. And off course she has some great quotes to take with you on your own journey to success…
