We’re excited to announce that Urban Chicks With Brains will be guest programming another movie with Filmhuis Den Haag. This time we got something hiphop historical planned for you guys. On the 28th of Augustus the arthouse location is scheduling the pre-premiere of the movie Straight Outta Compton, the story of the group N.W.A. (Niggaz With Attitude) and the five young men from Compton that forever revolutionized music and pop culture. The biopic does more than focus on the rise of the popular “gangsta” rap group N.W.A. consisted of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, DJ Yella and MC Ren. To get in the mood for this movie a marketing website called www.StraightOuttaSomewhere.com is created for more buzz, so promoters of the film created a site for users to upload photos and rep where they from. We’ve already some funny ones like Straight Outta Money captured with 50 Cent, Straight Outta Weed from off course Snoop Dogg and Compton natives Serena Williams and Dr. Dre himself.
